Letterpressed ivory label, debossed line rules, oxblood title block. The seal is stamped, not printed. Numbering is inscribed by hand, in ink.

Specifications printed in ink on an ivory reverse panel. Every field has been deliberately withheld. Regulatory text is replaced with house statements where legally permitted.

The seal, close.

Each bag is closed by hand with a wax impression of the house monogram. The Latin inscription around the border reads TU NON DIGNUS. The seal is cracked by the act of opening; this is intended.

A NOTE ENCLOSED Reader — You have come into possession of our coffee. We do not congratulate you. Possession is not, in our view, the same as deserving. You will find no instructions herein. Should you require them, we suggest returning the bag unopened. — The House I.

Every bag ships with a hand-numbered insert card. The message does not vary. If the recipient requires warmth, it is not available here.

Matte black kraft exterior, foil-lined interior, degassing valve.
Closure
Hand-applied wax seal (oxblood, natural beeswax blend). Intended to crack on opening.
Label
Letterpressed on ivory cotton rag. Two-colour: ink and oxblood. Debossed rule lines.
Stamp
Lot number inscribed in iron-gall ink by hand. Illegibility is a feature.
Insert
Single card, mould-made, with the enclosed note. No instructions are included.

A press in Antwerp, of which we say nothing further.
